1. Colour-in-Geology Map: Unearth the British Isles

Ever stumbled upon a gem like this map and thought, "This is perfect for my students!" Well, that's exactly how I felt when I came across this beauty. It took me back to when I used to teach the Edexcel spec, where I used it to help my students understand the distribution of rock types across the British Isles.

Who can resist the charm of colouring in and exploring maps? Head over to the British Geological Survey website and grab your free copy. It's an engaging way to teach rock types, and your students will love it.

2. Teaching About Bolivia: A World of Sustainable Development

Now, Bolivia might not be the first country that comes to mind when you think of Geography case studies, but here's a fantastic resource that might change your perspective. These lessons are all about sustainable development and the valuable lessons Bolivia has to offer.

Thanks to a project funded by the RGS-IBG Innovative Teaching Grant, they've got three comprehensive lessons for you.  Each lesson comes with a PowerPoint, video clips of interviews, and some hands-on activities. But what truly caught my eye were the StoryMaps – they're engaging and educational. Dive into the world of Bolivia and see what lessons you can weave into your curriculum.

3. Not Just a Teacher: Shoutout to Teacherpreneurs!

As busy teachers, it's not often we get to see our colleagues shine outside of the classroom.  But today, I want to spotlight a former colleague and friend, Eve. She's not just an amazing geography teacher; she's also creating something quite extraordinary – "Woven by Eve."

Eve creates beautiful hand-woven landscapes using sustainably sourced wool and materials. It's a unique venture that showcases her talent and creativity.
